We can’t dispute the statuesque beauty of the UN – United Nations — Headquarters contemporary architecture that embellishes NYC, nor the elegance of the marble structure created for the OAS – Organization of American States — that reminds us of certain antique temples, and has also become an exquisite addition to other majestic governmental DC buildings that are just a few minutes away from the White House…

ORGANIZATION OF AMERICAN STATES in WASHINGTON DC
The same way we can describe NATO – North Atlantic Treaty Organization — Headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, as well as the offices of HRW – Human Rights Watch — on NYC 5th Ave… Even the International Criminal Court – ICC — in The Hague, Netherlands, also deserves to be among these architectural masterpieces; which altogether would sum hundreds of millions of dollars or even billions, meanwhile the ones they’re supposed to serve are starving for their promised justice and protection, or literally are famished waiting for food, medicines, and education, that in many occasions never get to where it’s supposed to go…

Without totally annulling their efforts and some number of their successes, we must acknowledge that according to their mission statements; which practically promise to save humanity and bring peace, justice, equality, as well as defeat disease, lack of education, and hunger in the world, what they’ve done is just not enough…
Some of these organizations besides being touristic attractions they haven’t accomplished their goals, and even though their vision for humanity sounds so promising and altruistic, they have stayed – since inception — in the realm of utopias never to be fulfilled, because they haven’t learned yet, or maybe they don’t want to realize that words and petty politics without real action will take them nowhere…
Meanwhile, political and social conditions of societies and countries in need deteriorate, and their causes get lost in a diatribe and charade of events that tend to die and miserably fail in the beautiful conference rooms and grandiose museum halls of these institutions , ornamented with pieces of art from great artists… Pieces that reminds us of the suffering of our planet and the forgotten; but all stays there – unfortunately — painted and sculpted on un-movable objects that can’t even comfort those in need who – anyway — will never be able to see those works of art they inspired…

One thing though – that might be on the favor of these so “humane organizations” — these institutions employ quite a few people; which can be considered laudable in a world with too many souls and fewer jobs, who satisfy their useless bureaucracy with “too many chiefs and not many Indians” creating so many delays and unnecessary discussions responsible for things never getting done, or lost amidst thousand of sheets of paper that before they get read by the real deciders the ink has already faded…

Wouldn’t it be a better idea to create universities for politicians where they can get educated on the right and honest way to govern, and make them get tested for moral values and also make sure that they’re psychologically fit to rule societies, with a heart full of empathy and compassion for those that will elect them… ??? Plus also create International Laws and World Wide Armies that are allowed to intervene to save nations, and rescue suffering people from the hands of tyrants and oppressive corrupt dictators and regimes…
Hospitals only hire specialized doctors. Schools don’t hire but prepared teachers. Why societies have to elect politicians that haven’t being educated and trained first, and who can really prove that they’re capable to govern with dignity?
Sovereignty, immunity, are words that should stop being applied and abused by rogue, failed , criminal regimes that rule with repression and impose cruel laws on their people so that a few can benefit, meanwhile others live in poverty, uneducated, and in some sort of modern slavery, or invaded by other countries that want to expand their territories…
RUSSIA INVASION OF UKRAINE
If we can create institutions that really take action to provide what humanity really needs, as genuine and honest public servants that rule with dignity, integrity, and mercy, we wouldn’t need the soon to be UN, OAS, NATO, HRW, ICC Mausoleums where a lot of $$$ are wasted without real results…
What have those world organizations have done for Ukraine, today victim of a mad man, Putin…??? Yes… Thank you for the weapons, but so many lives that could’ve been saved with a military intervention from the West…!!!
